Punching your fiance in front of your baby ON CAMERA was probably not a smart move, Amber!

Teen Mom Amber Portwood is in a lot of trouble for attacking her fiance, Gary Shirley, in front of her baby, because in Indiana, domestic violence in front of a child under 14 years of age can be a felony.

According to police in Anderson, Indiana, Amber may face felony charges in her case. Not only that, but Amber is also going to be investigated by the Department of Child Services (DCS).

DCS will interview people including friends, neighbors, and other witnesses, and they have the right to do so according to the following Indiana state law:

“Failure to report child abuse/neglect is a crime … Indiana law requires any person who has reason to believe that a child is a victim of abuse or neglect to make an immediate oral report to DCS or to law enforcement.”

Indiana's DCS is currently in the assessment phase of their investigation, but they'll be requesting interviews with everybody who knows Amber and Gary soon.

Sounds like a serious mess that Teen Mom's gotten herself into!

Chick inhales his 57th cigarette for the day, slowly and then puts it out in a nearby ashtray. Then whipping his hands onto his trousers, he leans back, stretches his legs, and waits.

Now that he is "free", the LAPD's Threat Management Unit plans to send a detective to re-interview this guy and if need be, but him on a mental health hold.

Why? Oh, maybe because he told the cops that he had deep conversations with God about KILLING Selenita!!! That's a red flag if we've ever heard of one!

Should officials feel he is still mentally unstable following their interview, they cold then go to court and have Tom placed under a conservatorship, making him a ward of the county. Once that is in effect, essentially the cops can have a mental healthy facility take custody of him ... in Illinois.

That sounds nice. Nice and far from Selena's home!!

This guy still sounds pretty dangerous if you ask us, but we're glad to know the police are doing everything they can to make sure our Selenita stays safe.

Nick Cannon was druving home from the Google Music Launch party last night, when a cop pulled him over. According to Nick, he was let off with a warning, but the incident prompted him to talk about something that has been on his mind apparently since he was 13.

Just got pulled over again. For the 1st time ever... The Cop let me go! He was a black man! 'Preciate it Brotha!!

Growing up, I never liked Cops. Always felt they were bullies. I guess I shouldn't stereotype...

At age 13 a Cop pulled me over on my bike with his gun drawn. What the hell did he think I was going to do? !

Racial discrimination amongst law enforcement is nothing new, but is something that we'd hoped that in the year 2011, wouldn't be as common. Ignorance is a really ugly thing and we just wished more people would try to open their minds and hearts to be more accepting of other people.

Sucks that Nick - or anyone of a different race, orientation, etc - ever has to feel like that. Shame.

Katie Couric Talk Show Gaining Ground, What Does That Mean For General Hospital?

There is big news surrounding Katie Couric’s new talk show and that news has loyal General Hospital fans like myself wondering what is going to happen to our show. KATIE, which is the tentative title of Couric’s show, has been cleared for broadcast in 93% of the country, plus it has been sold in 95 of the top 100 markets. In plain English that means that the show is gaining a lot of ground to take the time slot currently occupied by General Hospital. While I am sure the powers that be at ABC are thrilled with what is happening with KATIE, soap fans are worried that the lone soap at the Disney owned network will soon fade to black. Of course no one is commenting on the fate of GH or at what time the former news anchor’s talk show will be airing for sure. Although I hate to give ABC any sort of credit or defend them in any way I am guessing they have no idea what to do yet.
